made visible the critical, creative, activist, and academic engagement of Black, African, and Asian, or Asian and Afro-diasporic people with colonial history, the history of anti-colonial resistance, and its contemporary formations through performative and discursive formats. Through the annual Dekoloniale Festival, the artist residency program Dekoloniale Berlin Residency, and the quarterly think tank Dekoloniale [Re]visionen, among others, the postcolonial culture of remembrance was brought into the public space and the overall project was given a discourse-oriented platform.
