这次旅程将揭开柏林-威丁的 Kiautschoustraße、Pekingerplatz 和 Samoastraße 等殖民街道名称，追溯德国殖民主义在青岛、北京和阿皮亚的遗产。
尽管德国对华殖民野心持续时间短且基本有限，但其影响深远。它加速了中华帝国的衰落，并引发了一场改变中国轨迹的学生运动。
八国联军镇压义和团运动（1900-1901年）的后果在德国博物馆中也清晰可见，那里收藏着大量从中国掠夺的珍贵文物。
此次巡演还将探索德国在中国和萨摩亚的势力范围之间的相互联系，深入探讨推动德国资本主义收益的自然资源和廉价劳动力的开发。
