Placa para Joseph Ekwe Bilé

El jueves 21 de abril de 2022 se develará una "placa conmemorativa de Berlín" para el importante activista afrodiaspórico Joseph Ekwe Bilé.

Joseph Ekwe Bilé, nacido en Douala en 1892, fue un arquitecto y comunista germano-camerunés que luchó por los derechos de los negros.

El Departamento de Cultura y Europa del Senado junto con el Museo Activo Fascismo y Resistencia en Berlín eV y la cultura del recuerdo en la ciudad Dekoloniale lo invitan a la inauguración el 21 de abril de 2022 a las 4 p. m. en Bülowstraße 39, 10783 Berlín-Schöneberg .

El saludo será pronunciado por Dr. Christine Regus (directora de memoriales, museos, departamento de bellas artes) y Anna Yeboah (coordinación general, Dekoloniale cultura del recuerdo en la ciudad). El discurso laudatorio estará a cargo del Prof. Dr. Robbie Aitken (historiador).
