»Despite everything: migration to the colonial metropolis Berlin«
Opening : October 20, 2022, Duration : October 21, 2022 - April 2, 2023
Although Germany officially became a colonial power in 1884, the migration of people from the colonies was neither intended nor planned. Despite everything, people came to the colonial metropolis of Berlin. The exhibition allows a new perspective on Berlin and encourages understanding of colonialism and migration as inseparable parts of our past and present.
